The Special Court has ordered the confiscation of the properties of Aurel Hoxhallari, sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of Devi Kasmi. It is about apartments, land and other units.
Kasmi was killed on the evening of January 29, 2018 near his apartment on "Kongresi i Manastir" street in Tirana, while a total of 5 people were admitted to this crime and one was declared wanted. Efthymious Efthymiou, Elton Halipaj, Malvin Dinellari, Elton Hoxallari, Mario Meshini were arrested for the crime, while a military arsenal was seized in a residence suspected to be the group's base on the outskirts of Tirana. The machine was then released.
The identification of Efthymiout and other members was made by security cameras and a white van in which they approach a few moments before Kasmi was killed and then leave in the same vehicle. The motive of this crime remains unsolved by the police, while it is suspected that after the clashes between the criminal groups, still unidentified persons paid for the execution of Kasmi by contracting the former Greek commando.
Hoxallari was also arrested on January 10, 2015, together with his cousin Amarildo Hoxallari, as the suspected orderer for the assassination of Pajtim Serjani, an event that occurred on January 5, 2015 in "Rrugën e Kavaja" in Tirana. But, on February 1, 2015, the Serious Crimes Court released them for lack of evidence.
Exactly on February 1, 2015, almost 3 years ago, the Court of Serious Crimes acquitted the two suspected perpetrators of the assassination of Pajtim Serjani, which happened on January 5 in Kavaja Street.

3. Property with no. ***, dated 21.04.2016, in the name of citizen Kimete Hoxallari (regarding the 3 (three) storey apartment in Yzberisht).
4. The property in the process of legalization with no. ***, dated 27.01.2015, in the name of the citizen Nezhdet Hoxallari (regarding the apartment and warehouse in Kodër - Mëzez). • Transfer of confiscated assets to the state.
The revocation/removal of the sequestration measure imposed by Decision no. 156, dated 30.11.2020, of the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime, on assets:
1. Property with no. ***, cadastral area ***, volume **, page **, property type "Area", with a total area of 300 m2, located in Yzberisht, owned by citizen Aurel Hoxallari. This property was purchased according to the sales contract no. *** Rep. and *** Col., dated 24.07.2007.
2. Property with no. ***, cadastral area ***, volume. **, page ***, property type "Area", with a total area of 400 m2, located in Yzberisht, owned by the citizen Aurel Hoxallari, referred to the sales contract no. *** Rep. And no. *** Kol., date 04.07.2007, The number of the property is ***, in accordance with the volume and the page is the same.
3. Property with no. ***, cadastral area ***, volume **, page ***, property type "Area", with a total area of 210 m2, located in Yzberisht, owned by citizen Aurel Hoxallari.
4. "Apartment" type property with no. property ***, volume **, page **, with an area of 61.2 m2, with address: "Muhamet Gjollesha" street, building no. 7, ex. 1, floor 3, apartment 5, Tirana, owned by citizen Dhorothea Male, this is confirmed through Contract no. *** Rep. and no. *** Col., dated 23.04.2014.
