A serious incident was recorded this evening in the Municipality of Kruja, where a quantity of TNT was placed on the vehicle of the mayor of the Fushë Krujë Administrative Unit, Ilir Loci.
It is learned that the Range Rover was parked in the parking lot of a restaurant when a quantity of explosives exploded in the front part of it. Initial suspicions are that the explosive material may have been thrown from an alley next to the restaurant, where the vehicle was parked.
The explosion was so powerful that it was heard throughout the surrounding area, and along with the administrator's car, another SUV parked nearby was also damaged. Fortunately, no one was injured in the explosion, but only material damage occurred.
There is still no clue as to what could have been the reason for the explosive device being placed. Meanwhile, the police and the investigation team have arrived at the scene and are working to fully clarify the case.
