Kamber Sulçaj and his family are not unknown names to justice.
The 48-year-old, wanted for the murder of an Italian businessman in Tepelena, turns out to be a shareholder in a quarry in Brataj, Selenica, Vlora, called 'Stone Quramenga'.
He is a shareholder with 25% in this quarry, together with his father Delo Sulçaj who has 20% of the shares and his brother Akil alias Ermal Sulçaj with 15% of the shares. Two other people are also shareholders in this quarry, who are not related to the Sulçaj family. In addition to the shares in the quarry, Kamber Sulçaj also owns a cattle farm.
Meanwhile, in May 2021, Kamber Sulçaj's other brother, Gazmendi, along with their cousin Roel Sulçaj, were arrested in Vlora. They were arrested with 2,632 cannabis seeds that they were going to sell for the purpose of cultivation.
We recall that today, the police officially announced that during the searches in the 48-year-old's apartment and the apartments of his family members in Vlora, to arrest Kamber Sulçaj, the police also found cannabis seeds.
From the searches in the apartment of the 48-year-old man and his family, approximately 2.5 million lek (in lek and euros), 3 shotguns with combat ammunition, 450 suspected cannabis seeds, and 2 safes were found.
