The photo of 20-year-old Pavlin Preka, who was executed yesterday by gunfire in the yard of his apartment in Shkodra, has been published.
The incident took place yesterday afternoon in the village of Guci e Re, where he lived alone. Pavlin Preka was found lifeless in the yard, while the motives for the crime remain unclear.
The police have escorted 20 people, including neighbors and individuals who may have information regarding the victim, but also people who may be involved in problematic activities in the area.
Preka was not known as a problematic person and had no criminal record. Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
The young man divided his life between Dukagjini and Gucia, where, together with his father and brother, he raised livestock.
Police records indicate that Pavlin Preka had been coming to his house in Shkodra for 4 days.
At least 6 gunshot wounds were found on the victim's body, but statements from neighbors indicate that they did not hear any gunshots, raising suspicions that the perpetrators may have used a silencer.
