Gentjan Bejtjaj, a well-known name in the world of crime in the area of Fushë Kruja, was executed this afternoon with a volley of automatic bullets near his apartment.
Since last year's assassination, Bejtjaj had not stayed in the apartment, but it is suspected that he was hiding in the Lezha area until the day he decided to return. He entered from the back of the apartment, an attempt to avoid a possible assassination attempt, but it was precisely at this moment when the perpetrators ambushed him and shot him with a barrage of bullets.
But journalist Klodiana Lala said that she has strong doubts that Bejtja may have been betrayed by people close to her, as long as the killers knew exactly when she would return to the apartment and therefore decided to eliminate her.
Being a person suspected of a series of criminal events, but never convicted due to lack of evidence. For this reason, the investigators have many investigative tracks, which complicates efforts to solve the crime.
Considered a controversial character, Gentjan Bejtja was involved in strong clashes with the brothers Valter and Durim Bami since the disappearance of Enver Stafuka in 2015, who had revealed many criminal events.
Meanwhile, Bejtja is suspected of being involved in the assassination of Marklen Haka in 2019, where his aunt was killed. Even with Haka, Bejtja had strong clashes.
