The Court of Tirana has suspended the citizen Arbër Halili, on duty as a specialist in the Directorate of Industrial Property Protection, in the General Directorate of Customs, for the criminal offense of "Smuggling by employees related to customs activity".
He was also assigned the measure of personal insurance "Compulsion to appear" for the criminal offense "Smuggling by employees related to customs activity".
From the Economic and Financial Crime Investigation Section:
" On 06.03.2024, at 2.30 p.m., the execution of Criminal Decision No. 600, dated 04.03.2024, for the citizen Arbër Dalip Habili, born on 28.01.1982, resident in Tirana, with higher education, after the Court of First Instance First of the General Jurisdiction of Tirana, has set coercive "Suspension of the exercise of a duty or public service" and personal insurance measure "Compulsion to appear" for the criminal offense "Smuggling by employees related to customs activity" provided by article 175 of the criminal code .
The court, after examining the data and statements, imposed prohibitive and coercive measures against the citizen Arbër Halili, since this citizen, while exercising his duties as a specialist in the Directorate of Industrial Property Protection, in the General Directorate of Customs, has carried out actions contrary to the law and to the detriment of the company "RM" skp .
