Three young men have been arrested in the city of Lushnje, while another is being prosecuted.
It is learned that they were caught with narcotics, cocaine and cannabis, explosives and cold weapons. According to the police, the three youths were selling narcotics in schools.
The arrested have been identified as Evis Lace, Ronaldo Kiptiu and Adi Mema.
"Quantities of cocaine and cannabis, explosives and a cold weapon were seized. 3 citizens in handcuffs and 1 other under investigation, who were in possession of narcotics for the purpose of sale, as well as other illegal items.
The Lushnjë Police Station, as a result of the intensification of controls and the work of police intelligence, with the objective of guaranteeing order and security in the entire territory of the district, finalized, in cooperation with the Narcotics Investigation Section of DVP Fier, the "Penalty" operation. During the operation:
a 32-year-old citizen, a resident of Kučovo, was arrested, after a quantity of Cannabis and a mold of suspected artisanal explosives were found in the vehicle he was driving;
a 21-year-old citizen, a resident of Lushnjë, was arrested after doses of Cannabis and punch boosters were found on him;
a 24-year-old citizen, a resident of Lushnja, was arrested, after a quantity of Cocaine was found in the vehicle he was driving;
the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office, where criminal proceedings were initiated against a 17-year-old citizen, a resident of Lushnja, after dozens of doses of Cannabis were found on him, which from the investigations so far, it appears that he would sell them near the schools of the city of Lushnja.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of Fier General Jurisdiction, for further actions" , the police announced.
