Anton Biba, 22, and Arnold Uku, 27, were asleep when police executed a search warrant at a property in Mayflower Way, Harleston.
Biba and Uku were apprehended by officers as they tried to leave the rear of the property. According to official announcements, the premises were used for "large-scale production of cannabis".
Five rooms on the first floor and three rooms on the next floor were "filled with cannabis" all in various stages of growth after the June 7 raid.
The two defendants, who play the role of gardener, had been staying in two bedrooms in the unit and were both asleep when police executed the warrant.
The farm is described by law enforcement authorities as a "professional structure" and "clearly an operation capable of growing industrial quantities for commercial use."
Biba and Uku, both of no fixed address, appeared for sentencing on Wednesday (September 4) after admitting being concerned in the production of cannabis.
Jailing Biba for two years and Uku for 27 months, the court said it had been an "industrial-scale operation" in which they were both drug handlers.
