Nikoll Sherrniku, the person whom the police and the prosecution accuse of securing the license plates on the car that was used in the "Don Bosco" assassination, did not accept the accusation during his statements.
He was interrogated by the investigative group, but he denied knowing about the assassination in which the bartender Mimoza Paja was killed and 6 others were injured, arguing that when the incident happened in March, he was in prison.
Despite the statement, sources from the police and the prosecution say that there is strong evidence implicating him and that the license plates in Germany were obtained before August 2022, when he was arrested in Kune i Lezha.
From the investigative actions, the investigators have doubts that the German license plates are provisional that the 28-year-old Sherrnik had on a vehicle bought in Germany in 2020. This car with provisional license plates entered our country by the 28-year-old bringing it from Kosovo through the border point of Morina. The car was registered in his name.
The murder in 'Don Bosco', from what has been learned so far, was done as a sign of revenge by Ervis Martinaj's group against Fatjon Murat, as it is suspected that the latter participated in the assassination attempt in Fushë Krujë in 2022, with 3 killed among among them also Brilant Martinaj, the cousin of the "gambling boss", who has been missing since August 9.
