New details have emerged from the serious accident in the capital, where a 72-year-old woman lost her life.
The official police announcement states that the fatal accident occurred at around 10:30 on "Gjergj Fishta" Boulevard, near the Tirana Courthouse.
Preliminary data indicates that a UKT bus, driven by citizen AB, approximately 52 years old, collided with the electric motorcycle on which citizen AB, approximately 72 years old, was traveling. As a result of the collision, she died at the scene.
The investigation team continues its work in the field to clarify the full circumstances of the accident, while the materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further investigation.
"Around 10:30, on the "Gjergj Fishta" Boulevard, the vehicle (autobot) driven by citizen A. B, about 52 years old, is suspected of having collided with the electric motorcycle driven by citizen AB, about 72 years old, who consequently lost her life. The driver of the vehicle has been accompanied to the Police Station for further procedural actions.
The investigation team is at the scene and is working to clarify the circumstances of the accident.
