According to his testimony, the robbery was committed by three people: himself, Talo Çela and Dashnor Dumani, while he denied the involvement of Gentian Sharra.
Ilirian Feçi testified this Tuesday at the Special Court regarding the violent robbery of Lirak Bajraktari, an event that occurred in February 2011 in Elbasan, providing details on the perpetrators and the manner in which it was carried out.
According to his testimony, the robbery was committed by three people: himself, Talo Çela and Dashnor Dumani, while he denied the involvement of Gentian Sharra.
"There were three of us, Talo Çela, Dashnor Dumani and me. Talo had the car. We were caught on camera in a bank and a private house. Neither Talo nor I were armed, while Dashnor only had a crowbar," Feçi declared.
He explained that he had learned of the victim's movements through a personal connection, as his ex-fiancée had had a business relationship with Bajraktari, selling him jewelry.
Next, Feçi described the dynamics of the event, showing the itinerary and method of carrying out the robbery.
"I left my house, picked up Dashnor in Nish-Tulla and then we went to Elbasan, where we picked up Talon. We went to Lirak Bajraktari's house and stole a bag of jewelry and gold. The whole incident is visible on the home cameras," he said.
According to him, during the robbery there was a brief confrontation with the victim, and then the perpetrators fled towards Talo Çela's apartment.
"I had a little conflict with Dashnor. We took his bag and left for Talos' house. There was gold, pendants, medallions and a watch. After we sold them in Tirana, we divided them into three parts," Feçi declared.
He added that the stolen items were sold in Tirana and the profits were divided between the three perpetrators.
In his testimony, Feçi also spoke about his acquaintance with Nuredin Dumani, emphasizing that he knew him through a cousin and was aware of his apartment in Kavaja, as well as his involvement in illegal activities in the past.
As for Gentian Sharra, Feçi emphasized that he only knew him for business reasons and denied any involvement in this robbery.
"Gentian Sharra was not involved in the Bajraktar robbery. He was very well off financially. I went there only to get my money back," Feçi said.
At the conclusion of his testimony, he called on the prosecution to verify the footage provided by security cameras to fully clarify the incident.
