The GJKKO decided this morning to pass on to trial the file with 7 defendants, part of what is now known as 'Revanshi' which includes well-known names from the underworld, but also Police officials. The file that passed for trial today is a fraction of the large "Revanshi" file, as for about 20 people who are wanted and have not yet been arrested, there is another fraction.
Part of the file that is going to trial are Durim Bami, Aldo Avdyli, Jozi Kraja, Altin Morina, Marklen Haka, Enerigert Mitri and Edson Jozëik. According to SPAK's investigations, the people involved in the file, who will sit in the same cage, have at different times attempted to kill each other, or to collaborate with third parties, against those they will have on their side, while they are being tried.
Referring to the SPAK file, Durim Bami is accused of the criminal offenses of "Providing conditions and material means to commit murder", "Structured criminal group", "Cultivation of narcotic plants" and "Committing criminal offenses by a criminal organization or structured criminal group". He was extradited a few weeks ago from Dubai, where he had been sheltering for years. SPAK accuses Bami of having sought the elimination of former socialist MP Arben Ndoka, while the latter and other members of criminal groups wanted Bami dead.
According to SPAK, Bami, together with Endrit Doklen and Marklen Haka, planned the murder of Tori Xhecuka and Erigers Mihas. According to SPAK, Durim Bami led and financed a group that cultivated cannabis in Nikël and Bubq during December 2019–July 2020 and again in September 2020, administering the entire activity.
He was assisted by former RENEA officer Altin Morina (arrested) and other unidentified persons, who provided inside information and avoided police checks.
Marklen Haka , another name included in the file that went to trial, is accused of attempted murder of Durim Bami, participation in a criminal group and illegal possession of weapons.
Aldo Avdyli is accused by SPAK of "providing the conditions to commit the murder" of Durim Bami, a murder that remained an attempted murder. He is also charged with participating in a criminal group.
Jozi Kraja , according to SPAK, is accused of having acted as an observer, locator and collaborator in collaboration with other persons with the aim of murdering brothers Durim and Valter Bami.
He is accused of the criminal offenses of “Providing conditions and material means to commit murder”, “Structured criminal group” and “Committing criminal offenses by a criminal organization or structured criminal group”. Jozi Kraja is suspected of having provided conditions and material means to commit the murder of 2 brothers over a 4-year period, between December 2020 and May 2024.
Henerigert Mitri , held the functions of Head of the Risk Analysis Sector, in the Management and Direction Directorate, in the Department of Public Security, in the State Police, when he was arrested by order of SPAK, as part of the 'Revanshi' file. He is suspected of committing the criminal offenses of "cultivation of narcotic plants, committed in collaboration", "structured criminal group", "participation in a structured criminal group", "passive corruption of persons exercising public functions", "organization or exercise of gambling activity in violation of the law" and "abuse of office".
Another name is Edson Jozwik , who in collaboration with other persons, during the period June-November 2020, is suspected of having trafficked around 160 kg of cannabis sativa from Albania to Montenegro, with the final destination being the countries of the European Union.
He is accused by SPAK of the criminal offenses of "Trafficking in narcotics", "Laundering of the proceeds of a criminal offense or criminal activity", "Criminal group" and "Committing criminal offenses by a structured criminal group".
