The 82-year-old man reported missing in the Klos area has been found without signs of life, after several hours of searching by police forces.
According to authorities, the body of citizen EM was located after a search operation conducted both on the ground and from the air with the use of drones.
According to preliminary data, it is suspected that the elderly man lost his life after slipping off a cliff. Meanwhile, authorities say that investigations are continuing to fully clarify the causes and circumstances of this event.
"Following the information provided regarding the removal from the apartment of citizen EM, 82 years old, resident of Klos, we would like to inform you that:
After field searches, organized by police patrols on foot and by drone from the air, it was possible to find him, unfortunately with no signs of life.
"From preliminary investigations, it is suspected that the 82-year-old man slipped from a cliff and consequently lost his life. The investigation team is working to fully clarify the circumstances of this event," the police announced.
