28-year-old Bruno Çobo appeared before the Special Court today, 1 day after his extradition from Dubai.
The black squads communicated to him the measure of arrest in prison that was taken in absentia, due to his involvement in the criminal network of frauds worth 4.7 million euros against Italian citizens through call center platforms.
In the courtroom, Çobo rejected the statements that he was extradited through the simplified procedure, as he stated that he had traveled alone to Albania with the decision to surrender.
"I came to Albania with my feet. I was not accompanied by any authority from the Emirates or Dubai. I came to Rinas and at the crossing point, I communicated to him who I am and what was the purpose of my coming. The services were notified and they escorted me. They even put me on the plane once more ", he said.
It turns out that Bruno Çobo has sent a request through the mail to the Interpol Office in Tirana asking him to surrender himself and create the conditions to return to Albania.
