Ferit Truka, 61 years old, and Besnik Çupi, 68 years old, will be investigated at large, while Ervis Kadiu, 35 years old, and Edmond Xhafa, 51 years old, were left under "house arrest" measures.
The four are technical staff members of the mining company, who are accused of the criminal offense of "violating occupational safety regulations."
They should have taken safety measures to prevent miner Veliu from being hit by the mass of ore in the gallery during the accident.
The prosecution requested the legal assessment of the arrests, but also the relaxation of the measures following the arrest by the Dibra Police two days ago.
