The Distribution System Operator has carried out an action in Theth with a focus on businesses in the area, based on the data of losses in this area.
From the checks carried out, in cooperation with the law enforcement, 5 private subjects, with "hostel" activity, were caught red-handed. The verification showed that they stole electricity with a second line.
Also, a private entity "pulari" in Shkodër was found to be stealing electricity, while the police had to intervene with another subscriber who objected to DSO employees entering the premises to perform billing.
All cases processed in the presence of the police were transferred to the competent institutions for further judgment
