A 30-year-old man from Bulqiza was arrested in Tirana after stealing 9 million old lek from an apartment on "Mihal Popi" street. The police informs that they have seized 2800 euros, which were found on the 30-year-old during the search.

The 2,800 euros that were found on the 30-year-old during the search, and which are the product of the criminal offense, are seized, as well as the clothes he had during the theft.
Services of Police Station No. 2, following the work to guarantee the rule of law in the territory, to attack criminal activities in the field of property theft and to bring the perpetrators to criminal responsibility, they organized and finalized the coded police operation "Observation".
As a result, citizen EA, 30 years old, resident in Bulqiza, was arrested for the criminal offense of "Theft", provided for by Article 134/2 of the Criminal Code.
From the investigative actions, it is suspected that this citizen, on 02.08.2024, stole 900,000 new lek, in an apartment on "Mihal Popi" street.
As material evidence, 2,800 euros and clothing that the author had during the theft were seized. The materials were handed over to the Prosecutor's Office," the police announced.
