A serious incident happened in a private asylum for the elderly in Tirana.
A 78-year-old resident of this asylum, in the early hours of today's morning, hit his roommate several times with a cane, an iron rod, leaving him dead.

The police confirmed the incident that happened around 04:00 and announced that the victim is Virxil Vesho, 82 years old, who died after blows and trauma to the head.
In advance, it is known that the debate was banal, as the author accused the friend "of occupying his bed". According to representatives of the private asylum, both elderly people suffered from sclerosis.
The investigative group has gone to the scene and is conducting investigations, examining the crime scene, interrogating the arrested author and collecting evidence or security camera footage.
"Specialists of the Sector for the Investigation of Serious Crimes in DVP Tirana, in cooperation with Police Station No. 1, they arrested Mr. Sh., 78 years old, a resident of a private asylum for the elderly, in the act, for the criminal offense of "intentional murder", provided by Article 76 of the Criminal Code", the capital's police announced in advance.
Further, details about the dynamics are given, explaining that "the crime happened today around the early hours of the morning".
"For weak motives, the suspect hit his roommate, citizen VV, 82 years old, several times with a cane (iron stick), who died as a result of the injuries he received," explained the police.
The Prosecutor's Office has also joined the investigations, as the circumstances and causes of the serious crime are being verified. The officers are interrogating the 78-year-old Shehi, to find out the specific motive that led him to hit his roommate to death.
