The three children of the Meta family, who are accused of killing their father Pëllumb Meta and burying him in the hut, appear before the court today. The three children will be introduced to the security measure.
The serious crime was discovered on February 23, when the police found the body of the 49-year-old buried in the cattle shed in the backyard. He had been declared missing since February 13, after the elder son's complaint that he had lost contact with his father.
But, the investigations took another course, where it was discovered that Pëllumb Meta was killed on February 10 by the eldest son, Hysen Meta, and the younger son, Amarildo, 21 years old, and the daughter Hygerta, 19 years old, cooperated in hiding the corpse. Meanwhile, their mother, Blerina Meta, is being investigated in a free state for concealing a crime.
Initially, the 19-year-old, a student of Foreign Languages in Tirana, took responsibility for the murder, who said that she killed her father because she wanted to marry him against her will. Further investigations revealed that the execution with 4 pistol bullets was carried out by 25-year-old Hysen Meta. In the testimony before the investigators, the main author of the crime declares that their father was authoritarian and violent.

According to the investigation file, they claimed that despite their desire to connect the krushki with the Meta family, the girl's father Pëllumb Meta had made it clear to them that the krushki could not be done as the girl would continue school and had no plans to get engaged.
