A serious event shocked Italy yesterday evening where the 35-year-old Albanian Klodiana Vefa was shot dead.
A friend of the Albanian woman, who was allegedly shot dead in the middle of the road by her husband Alfred Vefa, spoke about the serious incident.
In a statement to the local media, the 35-year-old's friend said that she was breaking up with him because he was violent and scary.
"He inflicted severe psychological violence. She, always smiling, changed completely when she was with him. That man was really scary. But she had never denounced him. It took too long. I don't know why he agreed to the last meeting. He should never have done this. He had started a new life.
There was another woman. I don't understand what prompted him to make that gesture. It was an execution", comments the woman, convinced that it was her husband who killed Klodiana. Asked if he will commit suicide, the friend of the deceased said: “Knowing him, no. He will try to escape, maybe he will return to Albania. The children were left alone... How will they survive this trauma?"
According to the Italian media, the 35-year-old woman is suspected to have been killed after an argument between them. The police have set up checkpoints after the suspected perpetrator has disappeared. The couple, parents of two children, had been at odds recently and were in the process of separating.
