One of the criminals arrested in the premises of the Drenova prison as a participant in the group of hired killers led by Laert Haxhiu, was sentenced to 11 years in prison for the charge of "Trafficking in narcotics" committed in co-publication.
31-year-old Ligor Romaçka, otherwise known as "Golja", pleaded guilty and was sentenced in March 2023, to 11 years in prison.
But due to the abbreviated trial, Romačka benefited from a reduced sentence, finally being sentenced to 7 years and 4 months in prison.
However, while he was serving this sentence, two days ago Romaçka was recognized in the prison of Drenova, with the restraining order of the prosecutor's office of Elbasan, which already accuses him of the murder of Çajup Selim in Tepelena and the murder of Fridman Xhaferaj in Korçë.
In both cases "Golja" from Korça acted in cooperation and synchronization with Laert Haxhiu, Artan Tafanin, Erisiano Abedini, Lulzim Spahini alias Arapi, Bujar Abedinin from Tepelena, Mariglen Topuzin from Pogradeci, Bledar Berberi the brother of "Koros" and Idriz Manej.
Now Romacka and the other 15 people are expected to appear before the court of Elbasan, to be familiar with the charges and the security measure "arrest in prison". While afterwards it will be SPAK, the one that will take over the further investigation of this matter.
"Golja" of Korca, apart from the killing activity, also carried out drug trafficking towards Macedonia and Greece.
On November 8, 2021, Romačka organized the trafficking of 114 kg of drugs from the border point of Gorica, using lawyer Joni Mosku as a drug courier.
