A 42-year-old Albanian man was found dead in a stable in Greece, shot in the head with a shotgun.
A serious incident occurred this afternoon in Greece. Neighboring media reports that an Albanian citizen was found dead inside a stable, in the Burnia area, near Kalamata. It is suspected that the Albanian was murdered, while details regarding his identity are still unknown.
According to preliminary data, the victim was shot with a shotgun from close range, which strengthens suspicions of a deliberate attack.
It is learned that the Albanian, around 42 years old, worked in a cowshed in the area, while the causes and circumstances of the incident still remain unclear and are being investigated by Greek authorities.
One of the leads being examined is related to a person who is suspected of having a working relationship with the victim, but so far there is no official confirmation. Witnesses in the area, questioned by "Protothema", claimed that the 42-year-old of Albanian origin was killed by one of his employees.
The victim has been identified as an Albanian citizen, who was staying at the apartment of a fellow Albanian in the area. His body was discovered by a couple, who immediately notified the police.
Meanwhile, the Greek owner of the stable where the victim worked has been declared wanted, but was not found in the apartment. It is not yet known whether he has a direct connection to the incident, while authorities are continuing their investigations to fully unravel the crime.
A forensic doctor is expected to arrive from Corinth, who will conduct an examination to determine the exact cause of death.
