Police discovered an apartment used for prostitution on "Don Bosko" Street in Tirana and arrested two citizens from Kazakhstan.
MA, 34 years old, and AA, 37 years old, were arrested. Investigators are also verifying the role of two other people who are suspected of benefiting from this activity.
During the search of the rented apartment, officers seized a sum of money and four mobile phones. The authorities referred the investigative materials to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further proceedings.
"DVP Tirana/The operation codenamed "Foleja 5" is being finalized by the Police Commissariat No. 3. They were practicing prostitution in a rented apartment, on "Don Bosko" street, 2 citizens from Kazakhstan are arrested. 2 citizens, beneficiaries of this activity, are being prosecuted. A sum of money suspected of being benefited from this activity and 4 cell phones are being seized.
The services of Police Commissariat No. 3, based on information obtained about a prostitution case, have organized and finalized, under the direction of the Tirana Prosecutor's Office, the police operation codenamed "Nest 5".
As part of the operation, Kazakh citizens MA, 34 years old, and AA, 37 years old, were arrested, after investigations revealed that they were practicing prostitution in an apartment they had rented on "Don Bosko" Street. Criminal proceedings were also initiated against 2 citizens who benefited from this activity. The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action," the police announced.
Two days ago, police raided another apartment on “Çamëria” Street, where they arrested two more female citizens from Kazakhstan, aged 19 and 25. Another person in that case remains under investigation.
