Shkodra Police have finalized the "Neonët 9" operation, as a result of which they discovered a tunnel in the "10 Juliru" neighborhood that was adapted for this criminal activity.
For this reason, two suspected perpetrators of this criminal activity have been arrested in flagrante delicto. An OSHEE employee has also been arrested, while three others have been criminally prosecuted for abuse of office.
"From the checks in this environment, the following were found and seized as material evidence: 555 seedlings and 115 suspected narcotic cannabis plants, 126 lamps, 80 inventory equipment, 31 LED panels and 17 air filters, which served for the cultivation and drying of seedlings and narcotic plants. Following the actions in the case, citizens AP, 35 years old, resident of Shkodra, and KH, 30 years old, resident of the village of Degë, Tropojë, who were caught in the tunnel premises, were arrested in flagrante delicto. Also, citizen DS, 40 years old, resident of Shkodra, was arrested, and an investigation was launched for citizens DP, 32 years old, MH, 35 years old and FV, 23 years old, employees of OSHEE, for the criminal offense of "Abuse of duty", committed in collaboration", the police announced.
