This Thursday's hearing at the GJKKO for the "Golden Bullet" case was accompanied by debates and tensions between representatives of the Special Prosecution Office (SPAK) and the defendants' legal defense attorneys.
During the hearing, some of the defendants present in the courtroom leveled accusations against the prosecution regarding the length of their detention.
"You are burying us alive" and "You are keeping us in prison, not Nuredin Dumani," declared Petrit Qoli and Asllan Plaku.
The debates intensified when SPAK presented the documentary evidence. The prosecution announced that the conversations would also be made available on the Sky ECC platform at the next hearing, via a CD that would be displayed on the courtroom monitor.
Regarding defendant Asllan Plaku's claim of serious health condition, prosecutor Behar Dibra stated that this issue should be addressed through his lawyer.
Meanwhile, the legal defense of Altin Ndoc, who has been wanted for a month, opposed the prosecution, requesting that they be provided with the CD with all communications on "Sky ECC" obtained through letter-orders. Their request was rejected, which led to further debates in the courtroom.
The Special Court decided that the next hearing will be held on March 3, where the review and debate on the documentary evidence is expected to continue.
