Over 10,000 expired food and herbal supplements have been discovered in the warehouse of the company "Limited Charm" by the Tirana Police.
During the warehouse inspection, over 10,000 expired supplements were found and seized, without the Medicines Agency stamp, without the Ministry of Finance stamp, and without labels in Albanian.
Jasmin Trebo, the administrator originally from Bosnia and Herzegovina, has been declared wanted, while two warehouse employees were criminally prosecuted.
"After an investigation using proactive methods, conducted under the direction of the Tirana Prosecutor's Office, to document the illegalities that were being carried out in the warehouse in the capital, of an entity with international activity in the field of digital advertising, the codenamed operation "Audienca" was finalized."
During the search of the premises of the entity, specialists from the Economic and Financial Crimes Investigation Section found and seized over 10,000 expired food and herbal supplements, without the stamp of the Medicines Agency and the Ministry of Finance, as well as without labels in Albanian.
Following the procedural actions in the case, the administrator of the entity, a citizen from Bosnia and Herzegovina, JT, 53 years old, was declared wanted, and the employees who were on the premises of the entity, citizens JG, 30 years old and M. Ç., 26 years old, were criminally prosecuted.
Efforts are underway to capture the 53-year-old.
The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecution Office, for further action, for the criminal offenses of "Smuggling of other goods", "Storage or storage of contraband goods", "Trading and transporting contraband goods", "Hiding income" and "Importing, producing, selling and storing food dangerous to human health or life" , the police announced.
