Ben Blushi: "I am a Muslim", explained in two minutes

Publicist and writer Ben Blushi brings to the reader the novel "I am a Muslim". The title of the writer evokes a reaction and seems to provoke, but the author himself explains that he grew up in a Muslim family and appreciates those who believe without censoring others. In a video posted on his Facebook, he gives a brief explanation of the book and who it is dedicated to:

“Hello everyone! In recent days I have received many messages about my new novel “I am a Muslim”. Some of them are encouraging, some are enthusiastic, but some are skeptical. In some cases, the cover of this novel has become a meme. I like that a lot too. I decided to post some of these memes on my Facebook page. They have a lot of humor. But, unfortunately, some comments and some memes are very offensive. I still understand everyone. However, I want to tell you something: The novel “I am a Muslim” is not against Muslims. I live with Muslims. They raised me. They taught me what is good and what is bad. They taught me how to love. I love all Muslims. The mosque of the Muslims who raised me was the family. Their God was love. Their religion was honor. I am just as Muslim as they are. My grandmother was a Muslim. My children’s grandmother is a Muslim. I believe that Muslims Albanians, are the most liberal Muslims in the world. This book is dedicated to them. The novel "I am a Muslim" tells the life of a writer who, after going to Mecca, became a Muslim. But, just like me, he also had a battle with fanatics. With radicals. With those who turn religion into weapons and believers into armies. With those who force God to appear as an invader. With those who insult. With those who prohibit love. With those who cover the beauty of women with veils. With those who are against art, against science and against progress. So this book is not against Muslims. "I am a Muslim" is against fanatics. Against those who want to limit our freedoms. It is not a tract or an accusation. It is just a novel. And something at the end. As much humor as possible. I will post all your memes on my Facebook page. Thank you very much and I look forward to seeing you at the book fair. "I am a Muslim".
