Singer Sheila Haxhiraj has shown that second place at the 64th Albanian Song Festival is not the end of her journey towards Eurovision. On the contrary, the artist seems to have decided to seize a new opportunity to participate in the European competition.
After competing with the song "Heart of the Earth", which was very well received by the public and critics, Sheila has been selected to participate in the San Marino 2026 National Final.
She will compete with the same song, starting with the auditions phase on January 29th.
San Marino, as a small country, has for years opened its doors to international artists, giving them the opportunity to represent the country at Eurovision. This step has given Sheila a unique chance to showcase her talent to a European audience.
The artist herself confirmed the news through social media, showing her enthusiasm and describing this as a new challenge in her career.
