Today, on the eve of the 1st anniversary of being declared "non grata" by Great Britain, former Prime Minister Sali Berisha appeared in a special conference "to tell the truth", why he was declared unwanted by official London.
Berisha says that his declaration of non grata by Great Britain was made on the basis of slander by the British ambassador to our country, Alastair King-Smith.
'I am here today almost a year after the Home Office declared me non grata on trumped-up charges of links to organized crime undermining the security of the United Kingdom. After this decision, which was communicated to the parliament by Edi Rama, I declared that the letter from the Home Office is based on slander and fiction based on which I decided to sue King Smith and the Home Office for defamation. The decision is based on slander and fiction But according to British law, before going to court to take my claim for slander, I had to file a complaint with the administrative council. I have presented in this report all these documents of the transparency process on the declaration of non grata.'- said Berisha.
On July 22 of a year ago, it was Berisha himself who, through a statement in the blue headquarters, revealed that he had been declared "non grata" by Great Britain.
