On the 100th anniversary of the "Order of Skanderbeg", President Bajram Begaj decorated former President Alfred Moisiu with the "Grand Star" of the Supreme Order of the Eagle.
The head of state also decorated the prominent surgeon Besim Elezi with the "Big Star" order.
The late Artan Lame and Filip Rrumbullaku were also decorated with medals.
Prime Minister Edi Rama said that these two personalities have an undeniable contribution to restoring the true value of medals and other state customs.
" At the proposal of the Chancellor, we will present two medals of the 100th anniversary of the order, to Artan Lames and Filip Rrumbullaku. Two men who are no longer here, but their passion and knowledge of orders, medals and other customs of the state will be remembered as measures of integrity. Today, the Republic expressed its gratitude to the deceased," said Rama.
