May 11, Dule optimistic: Fredi Beleri will also help us

Vangjel Dule, chairman of the PBDNJ, and candidate of the 'Alliance for a Greater Albania' coalition in the Vlora District, said that in the May 11 elections, the opposition will also have the support of Greek MEP Fredi Beleri.

On the show "Ekspres" on RTSH, Dule said that my candidacy in the Vlora district is natural, because in most cases I have been in this district, with several exceptions such as in the beginning when I was in Gjirokastra, and in 2021 as a solution not from the PBDRJ, but also my own, I was forced to run in Tirana.

"Vlora is the most natural area where the HRDP has the highest and strongest support, but at the same time it also has the communities and interests it represents and is closest to them. The Vlora region is probably the area with the greatest geographical length where there are different communities that are close to the HRDP ," said Dule.

He further emphasizes that "we will continue to be very close to Himara for all those issues that have been identified, we have fought political battles, they have not made their choice and they must make the right choice. For this reason we will be there, but it is also in the Municipality of Finiqi where a large part of the members of the Greek ethnic community live. We have our communities in the city of Saranda, Delvina, or in Konispol and Selenica. PBDNJ is a multi-selective party and is not a one-sided party."

Focusing on the vote of the diaspora who will vote for the first time on May 11, Dule said that "by coming with a different spirit, living in other realities, they will try to infuse this reality and this spirit that lives in their host countries, both in society and in our political realities."

" This will be very positive. During the meetings held with the diaspora, I can say that the reception was content, there were problems, there were expressed concerns. Their concern was vital and had to do with what is being done with our elderly in Albania and what will be done with our children? How will these children grow up, will they grow up as a generation of immigrants without a homeland, or will we have a situation where everyone will contribute to their own country ", emphasized the head of the PBDRJ.

Focusing further on these meetings, Dule also touched on the meetings held with the diaspora in Greece where he was accompanied by the Greek MEP, Fredi Beleri. He emphasized that he is an MEP but does not stop working for the HRDP and OMONIA.

" In the meetings that we have held and Mr. Beleri was present with Albanian emigrants or with the emigrants of the Greek ethnic minority from Albania, I can say that they have surpassed us in their mentality. They feel Greece is their homeland, as well as Albania. A generation has been created, you see this on social networks that alongside the Greek flag there is also the Albanian one ," he said.

According to him, MEP Beleri is a victim of a brutal and banal political revenge.

" The Beleri issue will remain in history, but as an MEP he cannot play the role that we would like him to play because he must adhere to the principles of his parliamentary group in the EP," he said.
