Regarding the exclusion of 19 opposition MPs from the work of the Assembly, Democratic MP Ervin Salianji said that it is Edi Rama who is looking for a place without opposition.
According to Salianji, Rama had the opposition under control, but now he no longer has it.
Salianji's accusations continue by saying that Edi Rama has captured every institution in the country.
"Rama wants a country without opposition, he has fought and succeeded in subduing every institution, even the opposition until recently. It is seeking to have a parliament without opposition. 19 MPs are excluded only for protesting to return the Constitutional right. Imagine when he has the impudence to do this in front of the public, think what he can do to a citizen" , said Salianji.
According to him, if the demands of the opposition are not met, the country will not have a normal parliamentary life.
"We have said that there will be no normal parliamentary sessions if our demands are not met. The forms we have chosen to protest have been different. I want them to get assets, tenders, do PPP and not be controlled, because if we didn't speak, they don't worry. Albania is suffering day by day for the departure of people from the country. Do you know how many Albanians live here? We are in conditions where everything is controlled.
Despite all the measuring instruments of democracy, Albania is in an autocracy, where a single man controls all the institutions. I have respect for some of my colleagues who were elected with the votes of the democrats" , Salianji continued with his accusations against the government.
But Salianji also spoke about Lulzim Basha's opposition.
"When the Assembly was there to speak, did you see this gentleman come to the Parliament?" Basha is doing part-time opposition" , said Salianji in his interview on News 24.
