They blocked the plenary session and the Electoral Reform Commission, SP demands the expulsion of 19 opposition MPs

The Socialist Party has demanded the expulsion of 19 deputies of the Berisha-Bardhi group after the blocking of Thursday's session and the work of the Electoral Reform Commission.

SP demands disciplinary action against MPs Albana Vokshi, Sorina Koti, Elda Hoti, Lindita Metaliaj, Isuf Cela, Tritan Shehu, Lefter Geshtenja, Helidon Bushati, Xelal Mziu, Edmond Spaho, Oerd Bylykhashi, Ervin Salianji, Saimir Korreshi, Kasem Mahmutaj, Ramadan Likaj. Kastriot Piroli, Qani Xhafa, Lodovik Hasani, and Luan Baçi, according to article 65/1 of the Regulation of the Assembly of the Republic of Albania.

The majority demand comes after MPs blocked Thursday's plenary session, as well as the work of the Electoral Reform commission, which then convened online.

Following the request of the SP, a meeting of the Ethics Secretariat is expected.
