The chairman of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, in a speech held at the 33rd anniversary celebrations of the newspaper Rilindja Demokratike, declared that the democrats should reflect on building bridges of communication with the Albanian society.
Basha said that his first promise is that, starting with the unveiling of its electoral program, the PD promises to free the media from slavery and ties to the government. The latter, according to him, have undone the main mission of the media.
We wish the media and its employees a good year and a turning point for press freedom. We Democrats have no small problems with image and image perception. The newspaper Rilindja Demokratike is part of this.
We must reflect and we have a renewed will and faith to reflect as we pledged 33 years ago, to build communication bridges with society, interest groups and individuals that make up Albanian society. My first pledge today is that the DP, starting with the unveiling of its next program, promises to free the Albanian media from slavery and connections with the power that has undone the main mission of the media ", he said.
