Democratic Party MP Jorida Tabaku said that 560 million euros were given from the state budget for concession contracts and that half of these payments are under investigation by SPAK.
She says that it is no longer a question of opposition accusations, but of proven corruption accusations.
"The most heard words this summer were concession and corruption. Albanians are right to ask; how much do these concession contracts cost the state budget from their taxes? 560 million euros is the actual value of the state budget paid for these concession contracts.
Meanwhile, their real value is 50% of GDP. Half of the payment of these contracts is under investigation by SPAK. It is not about accusations of the opposition or the media. It is now a matter of proven corruption charges. Of that progressive corruption established in every contract and public work: Like incinerators, sterilization and check up. This is where the taxes of the Albanians go!", said Tabaku.
