The chairman of the Parliamentary Group of the Democratic Party, Gazmend Bardhi, in a statement to the media, said that tomorrow (September 2) there will be no meeting of the National Assembly of the DP, unlike what Lulzim Basha called.
Bardhi added that PD is currently without a leader and that this problem is an internal issue and that it must be resolved. He called for the opposition MPs to find a solution and that the main fight they have is Edi Rama.
The General Secretary of the Democratic Party stated that not resolving the impasse in the Democratic Party is sending a very bad message from the opposition to the people.
"I have no idea what Mr. Basha is doing, what I know for sure is that tomorrow there is no National Assembly of the Democratic Party. Each MP is free to think what he wants within the opposition camp.
This should be an internal issue of the Democratic Party. I am not the competent person to accept and to expel from the Parliamentary Groups deputies. At the moment, there is no chairman of the Democratic Party. For the conflict to be resolved, each of us must give up our personal interests.
In front of us is not an easy opponent, but an opponent that behaves like a mafia. If we are not able to solve problems within ourselves, imagine what message we can send", says Bardhi.
