The daughter of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, Argita Malltezi, has spoken about the possibility of her taking over the leadership of the DP. Malltezi stated that she has not had and currently has no ambition to become the head of the Democratic Party, adding that she is satisfied and satisfied with the work she does.
But Malltezi also did not leave without mentioning that she has always been and will be a contributor to DP and if there is a need, she said that she will increase her engagement in politics, leaving open the possibility of taking the leadership of PD in exceptional circumstances.

Question: Do you have ambitions to be the leader of the DP?
Maltezi: I hope I have conveyed the truth in what I have said. I have also proven with my attitude since 2013 that I have no ambition to take such a position. This has not changed. I have no ambition to take such a position. I am very satisfied with my profession and the work I do, but life comes as it comes. And these circumstances have brought me to deal with such matters, publicly and privately. I respond to those needs that the case has at the moment. I am currently engaged and I also come to this studio because of this issue. I have no political ambitions, but I have always been a contributor and activist of the DP. I always will be. If it is necessary to increase my engagement in politics, I will do it. Life is taken as it comes.
