The leader of the Mundësia party, Agron Shehaj, said that Prime Minister Edi Rama has threatened SPAK prosecutors. Referring to Prime Minister Rama's statement that "They should not make the mistake of coming to search for my phone, because they have collected the phones of all of Albania, let them go and deal with the facts," during the meeting of the SP parliamentary group, Shehaj said that it was a clear message of threat.
" How can you threaten the chairman of SPAK or the prosecutors, saying don't you dare take my phone, when their duty is to take Rama's phone. The court decides whether the phone should not be taken. The message was clear, because it said "SPAK has gone off the rails of the constitution, vote for us on May 11 that we will put SPAK back on the rails", so they will take it back under control and SPAK will not dare to arrest you" , said Shehaj on the "Now" show on "Euronews Albania".
On the other hand, lawyer Jordan Daci said that Prime Minister Rama's message was not a "threat from SPAK", however, he added that none of the political parties intend to extend the mandate of the special prosecutors.
" Some of them are ending their mandates. Other prosecutors will come. SPAK has brought innovation and some tests that have passed many things that previously seemed unimaginable, but SPAK by nature is second to none as an institution in the world, and it will not be eternal as an institution ," said Jordan Daci.
