Democratic leader Sali Berisha, during a media conference, said that the opposition insists on the creation of a technical government, which will prepare fair and free elections.

Berisha said that Edi Rama must resign, while expressing that otherwise the Albanian people will show him the way.

But Berisha refused to comment on whether he has a preferred name for acting Prime Minister, if the opposition achieves its goal of forcing Rama to resign.

"The Democratic Party insists and will insist on a technical government to prepare a fair electoral process."

The Democratic Party does not advance even a single name without reaching an agreement on the technical government.

"Once an agreement is reached on the technical government, without question the DP will advance, or present its proposals alongside other political forces," Berisha said.
