The leader of the Albania Becomes Movement, Adriatik Lapaj, has reacted from the hospital by publishing a photo from the Trauma Hospital, where he continues to remain hospitalized after being injured during the night, as police forces removed the tent erected by him and the activists.
"The third medal in 1 month from Edi Rama's regime! They have filed a criminal complaint against me again. I will file a complaint this time too. Thieves can't scare me. They'll have me in the square after I get out of the hospital," says Lapaj.
After the clash, police said they had arrested 4 people and prosecuted 6 others. Meanwhile, 5 people were hospitalized, including Lapaj, two police officers, and two protesters.
The clash occurred after police began removing the tent set up by activists of Albania Happening after the protest held during the day.
Activists have stated that the protests in front of the Prime Minister's Office will continue in the coming days, asking citizens to join them.
