Evi Kokalari, an Albanian-American activist who 4 years ago appeared alongside Sali Berisha, supporting what the democratic leader called the 'Speakers' movement, has returned to the accusations against Belind Këlliçi, the political leader of the Democratic Party for Tirana.
Kokalari, based on the accusations that Këlliç has directed at the Socialists that they stole the Albanian vote on May 11, writes that he must be held accountable for the theft of every race that has taken place in the DP.
"Këlliçi, who accuses the SP of vote theft, has not yet responded to the Democrats about the massacre of the National Council and the race for the presidency where he suddenly emerged as the most voted candidate. Reminder: then he lost the elections for vice-president!
Instead of responding to the basis of the re-establishment, he took me to court (the trial is not over yet) and told the Democrats he can't talk about this until the trial is over. So, he took me to court without getting caught and had nothing to say to those he treated as a friend and colleague.
What else was stolen from the DP?
- The FRPD race, whose president was installed by Flamur Noka by force
- Primaries, especially of the Municipality of Tirana
- The municipal elections themselves
- The seats in the City Council were stolen from the Democrats and given to the SMI
- Closed lists for parliament: Gaz Bardhi, Xhixho of the LSI, Tedi Blushi, Jozefina Topalli, Gjekmarkaj and several others should not have been on the closed lists. Those who sided with Berisha on the first day should have been on that list," writes Kokalari.
