The former candidate of the opposition for the Municipality of Durres, Igli Cara, has accused Edi Rama of the affair of the Port of Durres.
In his post on Facebook, Cara states that it will take 200 years to pay off the investment and that Durrës loses 231 million euros in taxes.
Igli Cara: Rama & CO's public statements have given way to each other, since the moment when the project to destroy the largest port in the country appeared out of nowhere.
From the loan financing of 2 billion euros, paid by APD, it was transferred to PPP (44% state and 56% private).
Recently, Rama spoke about internal financing.

Albanians are robbed of a public property such as the current port along with assets worth about 3 billion euros, according to Monitor.
At the same time, there are 231 million euros forgiven, taxes of the city of Durrës, which should have been returned to investments for the city's residents.
They will now pay 1 billion euros that will take 200 years to recover.
Do not forget!
It is money that we will pay from our pockets. A debt that we did not ask for, but that we, all without exception, will pay off for generations to come.
The truth is so simple and painful!
Everything that is said by Rama, Alabbar & Co. is pure demagoguery to justify the biggest theft since the creation of the Albanian state.
Robbing the day for the sun, leaving behind the dust of a project that will never be finished!
