Former prime minister Berisha announced in a meeting with the Tirana district structures that now a second stage is starting in the battle with Edi Rama's majority and this time it will be done by the deputies.
According to Berisha, the more they stand against Edi Rama, the greater the hope of the Albanians against the opposition.
He also said that Prime Minister Rama is not interested in EU integration, but only cares about his chair.
"After this meeting, I ask you to gather all the structures, all the sections and present the dramatic state of Albanian democracy.
No one but us can bring change and hope.
There is a lot of talk about hope and it is sorely lacking, there is no denying that.
But do you know why it is missing? That we did not act. That if we were all standing, absolutely, hope would be standing with us.
And the more we stood against Edi Rama, the greater would be the hope of the Albanians towards us.
So, we have done a lot of work these two years, we have fought for our existence. We have succeeded! We have succeeded in our own right.
Now is the battle, the second chapter, the second stage of vital importance for Albanian democracy.
Otherwise, Edi Rama...
Even yesterday he told the French president, this work of integration, we need that money. We guarantee that it absolutely does not need integration. No no no! That integration has written conditions. He does not meet the conditions. He wants the chair, give him the money, he says, we are so good here.
But we need integration, because we were founded as a party of western vocation, a party of integrations. For the time we were in power, they were the locomotive of integrations. We have the pole star now.
We need cooperation with Kosovo. It is half the nation. Kosovo today is a much more democratic country than Albania. There is no crime in Kosovo.
The family members of Edi Rama and the ministers do not decide, the law decides, this is the problem.
Therefore, we start this battle with the deepest conviction in our indisputable victory.
This battle will spread throughout Albania.
But the DP deputies will start it. It's up to us, we'll start there!", said Berisha.
