Charles Michel's statement that he supports the idea of an indefinite Kurti-Vucic conference on the situation in the North of Kosovo has excited Prime Minister Edi Rama. He was the one who proposed it and there was no way to miss the reaction. Rama has assumed the role of "reconciler of blood" even though he does not miss any opportunity without hitting the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti.
On social networks, Rama once again puts the blame on Kosovo, stating that with what is happening in the North, he is showing a black and white panorama of the Balkans. He added that some are taking advantage of the tensions in the north, referring here to Prime Minister Kurti, who, according to him, is trying to raise the image of a hero on Kosovo's shoulders.
" A good news is the progress of the idea of the highest level conference, without a deadline, until reaching a full agreement on the implementation of the Franco-German Plan between Kosovo and Serbia, which today was supported by President Charles Michel himself. Our region cannot be dragged into a completely useless, absurd conflict, where the fire of nationalism is played with, producing every day reasons for fighting, with actions and inactions, accusations and counter-accusations, which are daily degrading the situation in the North of Kosovo and they are undermining the edifice built with so many efforts of regional cooperation" , says Rama.
Further he directly sanctified Kurti. Ram says that the politicians of Kosovo must prove today, with deeds and not words, that this region belongs to the Berlin Process and not to the Kremlin's dreams, and Kosovo cannot be the unconscious fabric on which those dreams are projected. While according to him, some of them seem to be painting a heroic picture of history.
" Today, when in Brussels, the preparation of a new financial and economic support plan for the countries of our region entered the work agenda of the Commission; when Albania prepares to host the First Summit of the Berlin Process in the Western Balkans; when we must all be united, to advance this vital process for our common European future, strengthening our ties, our economies, our common market, the North of Kosovo is offering the world the screening of a black and white film of the old Balkans, which can only entertain cynical spectators in the East of the borders of the European Union... ", writes Rama.
Today, Albin Kurti came up with 8 new proposals regarding calming the situation, rejecting the EU's suggestion here.
