Democratic Party MP Dashnor Sula has commented on the decision of the Court of Appeal to give the stamp to Sali Berisha.
Sula says that today's decision is a denied right for thousands of democrats. According to him, today is a day of reflection, to make the Democratic Party an alternative political force, which aims to govern the country.
"The decision of the appeal should serve for reflection, not for celebration.
A political party is a community of people with common ideas and objectives. This means that the party is made by the people, not by court decisions. The March 6, May 14 elections showed where the people were and who the seal and logo of the Democratic Party belonged to. Consequently, today's decision of the Court of Appeal is a right denied to hundreds and thousands of democrats in these 2 years.
Knowing the laws, but also seeing the political reality, I could not think that there would be a different decision from the jury. Therefore, I think that it is not the moment to celebrate but to reflect and maximize votes on how to make the Democratic Party the winning alternative.
It is known that in the case of victory and in efforts to unify and maximize the energies of the party, the main responsibilities are the leaders.
The Democratic Party must find the mechanism to rally behind itself, the sympathizers who have never betrayed, it must rally behind itself the citizens without a party, it must rally behind itself the diaspora that did not choose to be a diaspora but it was imposed on them. Only in this way can it turn into an alternative force", writes Sula on social networks.
