The Socialist Party Assembly convened in Durrës today, a meeting that began with a speech by the Secretary General of this political force, Blendi Klosi.
Klosi praised Edi Rama's leadership, saying that thanks to him, the Socialist Party today is more victorious and more organized than ever. He added that the SP's landslide victory in the 2025 parliamentary elections, with over 300,000 votes ahead of the opposition, shows that the pink party "has won a complete victory, not a random victory, nor a narrow one."
"The Socialist Party under the leadership of Edi Rama enters its 35th year today, more victorious and more organized than ever before. We have gathered today after being confirmed by the vote of the Albanians as the force of the country's government, and this makes the Assembly meeting an evaluative meeting for this important political moment in which we find ourselves. Our victory is not an ordinary victory, but an extraordinary test of faith, it is a clear message that the majority of Albanians have chosen stability and seriousness of governance from the leadership of the country by Edi Rama and the Socialist Party. A party that wins 4 times in a row cannot be like a party that wins for the first time, it must have a clearer and more demanding vision. The Socialist Party has won a complete victory, not a random victory, nor a narrow one. The national result of 2025, 855 thousand and 831 votes for the Socialist Party, is not just a mathematical result, it is a renewed contract between the Socialist Party and the Albanians, a difference of 300 thousand votes with "Our opponents are a political difference for the leadership of Albania. The fact that the diaspora gives the SP 61% of the votes abroad makes this victory even more extraordinary," said Klosi, among other things.
