The Secretary General of the Socialist Party, Blendi Klosi, during the Assembly meeting in Durrës, emphasized the need to improve the internal organization of the party, regardless of the result of the May 11 elections.
In his speech, Klosi underlined that the Socialist Party must increase its operating standards and be more demanding of itself.
"The party must be stronger, clearer, more organized and more demanding of itself. The SP has won a complete victory, not a random one, nor a narrow and temporary one. The national result of 2025, 355 thousand for the SP, is not just a mathematical result, but a renewed contract with the Albanians. The difference with our opponent is a difference in trust, seriousness in leading Albania. The SP is the most stable force in the country, which knows how to turn reorganization into votes and a strong governing mandate. The fact that the diaspora gives it 61.1% of the vote abroad makes this victory stronger politically. Domestically, the SP is growing," he said.
The most critical part of Klos' speech was related to the shortcomings in internal organization and the lack of full recognition of the party's structures and lists.
"The time has come for a total reassessment where, through AI, we can combine the work of the administration to have a more complete knowledge of the lists. Unforgivable, we had this when we were in opposition. We still have a part of the list that is unknown to our structures. Today, when we have technology, we must have a structure that absorbs much more knowledge of the terrain. The diaspora is an organic part of our political result," added Klosi.
