The meeting of the National Assembly of the Socialist Party began at 10:00 in Durrës, where the Secretary General, Blendi Klosi, presented a long report regarding the way the largest party governing the country is organized, but also the preparations that need to be made for the upcoming electoral challenges.
This Assembly meeting is in the context of the renewal of the SP structures, while Klosi asked the members of the highest political forum to pay attention to the diaspora. In this context, he stated that as many Albanian emigrants as possible should be brought into the ranks of the socialists, setting as an objective the provision of 4 new members for each socialist organization.
"The diaspora is not a secondary element, it is an organic part of our political result, almost 200 thousand valid votes in the diaspora and 61.1% for the SP show that Albanians abroad have read the SP as the most stable and reliable force.
The election of party structures will take place from March 21 to June 30, from today until April 16 there will be recognition and analysis of each organization.
"4 new members in each organization of the Socialist Party, 2 men and 2 women. It will be a task to meet with 5 young people for each voting center," added Klosi.
