The Secretary General of the Socialist Party, Blendi Klosi, during the Assembly meeting, presented an analysis of the results of the 2025 elections, comparing them with the 2021 elections.
Klosi pointed out that Fier is the strongest district for the Socialist Party, while Tirana remains the area with the greatest electoral weight and at the same time the main political challenge.
"From 12% of the membership, the number of young people increased to 25% compared to 2021. The number of women increased from 26% to 34%. Clear evidence that in just a few months of reorganization, we significantly improved the indicators. Fier emerges as the strongest district, but most districts are a message of stability for the SP. The SP is not only the first force, but it is the force that organizes the ground. Tirana is the largest reservoir of our vote, this makes Tirana the biggest challenge. Lezha did not manage to be the winning district by a few votes, Kukës and Shkodra remain territories where the battle continues. The difference compared to 2021, we had several important points. Dibra wins by 11.5% more, Fier by 10.1%. Shkodra by 9.6% more, Gjirokastra by 8% and thus the districts continue almost all in an upward trend", said Klosi.
Focusing on the Tirana district, Klosi highlighted the problems that have influenced the election result, emphasizing that the loss in the municipality of Kavaja has had a negative impact on the overall performance of the Socialist Party in this district.
" The loss of a municipality like Kavaja harms the results of the entire Tirana district," he said, underlining that, although Tirana is considered a won district, the result does not represent the maximum possible for the Socialist Party.
"We have not yet reached our maximum, here I am talking about the entire region. The time has come to reassess the recognition of the list by the SP structures, AI can give us the opportunity to unite the work of the local administration. We have a part of the list that is unknown to our structures, we did it when we were in opposition. Today, since we have technology, we must have a structure that better recognizes the relevant list", emphasized Klosi.
