
Prime Minister Edi Rama has arrived at the meeting of the Assembly of the Socialist Party, organized on the outskirts of Tirana.
In a statement to the media, Prime Minister Rama emphasized that there will be no changes in this Assembly, but an analysis of the situation where the party is located will be made.
He also added that there will be no punishments, but reorganization of the party structures in order to do the work as well as possible.
"Given that today we do not have broadcasts from the meeting, I remain in your respect. First of all, I wish you all the 114th anniversary of Tirana, the capital, and to tell you that this is a working meeting of reports and discussions regarding the other steps that will be followed in function of the objective to completely reorganize the socialist party and to make it ready for the next victory.
The Socialist Party is in an extremely important process and a great opening of the party and a broad involvement of all those who have the internal desire and need to contribute and claim their rightful space is very necessary. .
Today we will not make any changes, we are to do an analysis of the affairs. Reorganization means movement and repositioning in order to do our jobs well", Rama said during his speech.
Around 400 members of the Assembly, including Prime Minister Rama, ministers and deputies will be part of today's closed door meeting of the SP Assembly. In an announcement yesterday, members were informed that participation in this meeting is mandatory and absences will be considered unjustified.
